Learn to river paddle board - in Ecuador!

These particular packages are focused on getting newer paddlers outdoors and exploring in a unique, safe, and accessible environment.
We want to teach you the fundamentals of river running on a paddle board, and support you with a fully catered experience which includes all shuttle logistics, food, accommodations, airport pick up/drop off, guides and safety kayakers, as well as extra activities which may include canyoneering, rafting, bike tours, waterfall tours, and more during your entire experience with us.

With hot weather and warm water all around you, there is no better place to learn how to paddle board on a river.
You will learn about and practice all of the fundamentals: balance and footwork, paddling strokes, and bracing, all in a flatwater environment to start. We then progress to the river, where eddy turns, ferries, and river reading will be practised in depth.

We will also cover hazard assessment, personal protection equipment, throwbagging, and hydrology. Added skills can include jet ferries, surfing, and s-turns.

All skills will be practised and exercised repeatedly as we progress through each new river section, adding more technique and finesse each day.

If you want a fully immersive deep dive into river running on a paddle board, with continuous days of drills, challenges, and a whole lot of fun as we work our way up from class l to class ll, this is the package for you!

*River boards, paddles, and equipment can be rented for $40CAD/day.
Rental equipment includes: helmet, pfd, quick release leash, river board, paddle.
Rental invoices paid separately.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If You’ve Paid A Deposit
-If cancelling more than 30 days prior to the start date of your trip, you will be refunded 70% of your deposit
-If cancelling within 30 days of the start date of your trip, there is no refund

If You’ve Paid The Full Amount
-If cancelling more than 30 days prior to the start date of your trip, you will be refunded 70% of your full amount paid
-If cancelling within 30 days of the start date of your trip, you will be refunded 50% of your payment
-If cancelling within 14 days of the start date of your trip, there is no refund

Disaster/No Fault Cancellation
-If there is political upheaval, natural disaster, or other reasons that are out of our control, you will be refunded 80% of your amount paid. We retain 20% to cover non-refundable expenses on our end.
