Women On The Water: SUP Camp Out
2026 dates will be opened in March for booking!
β¦β¦.
Inspired by the highly successful overnight rafting experience, Iβve decided to take that concept and bring it to paddle boarding!
This Event is an all inclusive overnight paddle boarding Adventure - just for women. Over two days and one night, we will explore Barrier Lake and learn some basics of paddle boarding, with camping at Jewell Bay! This is an excellent beginner friendly event, perfect for the woman who is brand new to paddle boarding and/or overnight trips.
If youβve ever wanted to camp overnight, but werenβt sure how to do it or where to start, let this be the place. And make it even more fun by bringing your friends! No experience required. Seriously.
Whatβs Included:
-2 meals (Day One dinner and Day Two breakfast)
-Appetizers, snacks, and assorted beverages for dinner and breakfast
-Tents, sleeping bags/pads, pillows, cookware and all other camping gear
-Paddle boards, ankle leashes, paddles, PFDβs, water shoes, and all other safety equipment
-Waterproof pack for all your personal overnight belongings
What To Expect:
-One βGet To Know Youβ zoom meeting prior to the Camp Out
-Meet at approximately 1pm on Day 1, and take off the water around 12pm on Day 2.
-Learn the basics of paddle boarding: forward, sweep, and braking strokes, basic safety skills, and how to load your board for camping
-Discuss topics including Leave No Trace, camping/gear basics and demos, menstruation and hygiene outdoors, bear awareness, and more
-Enjoy some downtime by the shorelines and at camp: bringing a book or a journal is a great idea!
-Build camaraderie, share stories over a bond-fire (see what I did there), and work together with like minded rad ladies
Whoβs This For:
-Women ages 16+
-Groups of 2, 3, or 4
-Those willing to participate in group discussions and activities
-Those wanting to experience overnight camping and paddle boarding for the first time
-Those wanting to learn about the outdoors in an encouraging, beginner friendly environment
-Those who will work together to help set up, tear down, and facilitate an awesome camping experience
Full itinerary, packing lists, and details sent after booking has been made.
